The 6th Ministerial Trade Conference EU-Candidate Countries - Bucharest, May 10, 2003

The 6th Ministerial Conference EU-Candidate Countries was opened in Bucharest by Prime-Minister Adrian NASTASE (see speech) in the presence of EU Trade Commissioner Pascal LAMY (see speech). Vice-prime-ministers, ministers, secretary of states or under-state secretaries in charge with trade relations, from the 13 candidate countries, discussed the way to better co-ordinate during the entire process of negotiations within the WTO, as well as other trade matters related to the future EU membership. This Ministerial Conference was concluded by adopting a Final Declaration.
