H.S.H, Prince Radu of Hohenzollern-Veringen, paid the first
official visit as a Special Representative
of the Romanian Government for Integration, Co-operation and Sustainable Development capacity,
to Geneva (on September 30 - October 1, 2002).
On this occasion, the agenda of the visit of H.S.H, Prince Radu
of Hohenzollern-Veringen, the Special Representative of the Romanian
Government for Integration, Co-operation and Sustainable Development,
comprised the following contacts:
Mr. Sergio Viera de Mello,
the High Commissioner for the Human Rights, at the Palais Wilson;
Amb. Phillipe Petit, the deputy-Director General
of the World Intelectual Propriety Organisation;
Mr. Mark Halle, Trade and Investment Director and European
Representative of the International Institute for Sustainable
Development.
H.S.H., Prince Radu
of Hohenzollern-Veringen gave a conference on
the topic: "Eugène Ionesco: un Roumain à Paris ou la France et la Roumanie"
in the presence of His Majesty Michel I and Her Majesty Qeen Ana, Madame
Ambassador Anda Filip, the Permanent Representative of Romania to the
UN and a numerous audience from the diplomatic community, the friends
of the "Margarita of Romania" Foundation, and Swiss and Romanian community
(on September 1, 2002 at Villa Dutoit, Genève).
The second stage of the visit of H.S.H, Prince Radu of Hohenzollern-
Veringen, the Special Representative of the Romanian Government for
Integration, Co-operation and Sustainable Development, to Geneva,
is scheduled for October 14-15, 2002
